Big news! The biggest video project I've ever undertaken just went live on Amazon.com! This is a project that I've been working on with Adam Hamilton since November of last year, and I'm excited to see it finally come to market. Shot on location in the West Bank territories and parts of Israel, the video takes you to some of the holiest places in the Christmas story.
While the project's not quite as edgy as a lot of the work I do on my own, I'm still really proud of how it came together. (opening titles notwithstanding!) Even if the Christmas story really isn't your thing this DVD is still worth a look just for the bonus chapter about the state of Palestinian people today. I hope you'll have a chance to pick it up soon.
Check out the trailer for the project after the jump...
So it's been a while since I've really been lighitng this blog up. For the past five or six weeks I've been working almost non-stop on a feature-length video called "The Journey" which takes viewers on the actually journey Mary and Joseph would've taken before Jesus was born. Yesterday I was finally able to FedEx the completed HD footage to the publisher, and the plan it to have it available in stores by mid-Fall of this year.
It's by far and away the biggest project I've ever produced (450+ production hours at last count)...
Day two of our Israel filmming. Today we focused a lot on the more traditional sites of Christian pilgrimage, including the Basillica of Annunciation and Sepphoris. Things are going pretty well with the project, but as always there's more run-and-gun than we'd like. Guess that's how the West was settled. Err...the Middle East.

Hey All - here are some photos I shot in Nazareth today. Click on any of the images to see larger versions of them. Nazareth is a cool city with an incredible history. I learned today the work Nazareth comes from a hope that they're tiny city would fulfill God's prophesy of a coming messiah. Gutsy for a town of 200 or so...
Tomorrow morning I'm heading back to Israel to doing some filmming for some new projects. We're actually taking off in less than 12 hours. I'm excited about the opportunity and I can't wait to be back in the place where it all went down. But I'm also a bit nervous...
